whojiYesterday I purchased the dwqa PRO version, via CodeCanyon. (The link in the wordpress dashboard led me to CodeCanyon)
The downloaded pro one is a zip file (dw-question-answer-pro-1.0.5.zip). Is the version 1.0.5 right? and I didn’t find any function that is not in the free version already. Does that sound right ? Is CodeCanyon legit?
vincent chatCode Canyon is legit indeed, but I have no idea of the difference between free and pro. I have been looking for the info, but couldn’t find it anywhere!
Dominic2/ At the moment, we have some change and improve the feature and widget from free version for Pro version. In the 2 version has different about the style.
The pro version supports 7 Custom Widgets, and Anti-spam by reCaptcha / FunCaptcha.
And the Widgets of Free version is 4 and you need to install the Extension to get all the widget like pro version.
Also, the Instant Search in the Pro version. This is also an outstanding feature of DW Question & Answer. The Ajax-based solution helps you quickly search information while entering parts of your text, a similar way you might see in Google.

if you want to add the widget for only the question page, you need custom the site. We need to add some the code line to the theme. Please send me username & password of your site via private answer, I will check and help you resolve it.

Displaying a widget is so easy, you just need to assign a sidebar for that page and then you can add widget to that sidebar either from backend or frontend under ‘Customize -> Widgets’
Make sure not to assign that sidebar to other pages, otherwise you will get the same widgets there..
