Display captions on galleries

I\’m looking for some help to display captions in the slider on gallery pages. At the moment the slider just scrolls through attached images without displaying captions.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Please send me your site URL for further checking and a screenshot of the position that you want to show the Captions.

Is it possible to get the caption between the slider and breadcrumb so that it’s consistent with regular posts (as seen here http://borderwatch.com.au/2018/05/big-change-coming-for-pet-owners/)? If not, then at the bottom of the slider underneath the carousel indicators would be great.

Once the captions are there, styling is no problem, but I’ve just hit a wall trying to get them to display.
