With BBpress, it is possible to display forums from a particular category. This is very useful for filtering questions based on subject matter and displaying them in sidebars on pages related to the subject matter.
For example, if I have a category of questions named \”Computers\”, and I have a page on my site titled Computers with info about computers, I should be able to insert questions from the \”Computers\” category of your plugin on the sidebar of the page \”Computers\”.
I need this feature in a Q & A plugin, and I think a lot of people would need it too. It would be such a useful feature

Yes, the DW Q&A plugin has supported to help you show the categories question.
We have provided 2 shortcodes is:

[dwqa-submit-question-form category="catslug"]

and

[dwqa-list-questions category="question"]

Thanks for your reply, Dominic.

I have used the shortcode above, but unfortunately the result does not look good in a side bar as it does on a normal page. It would be perfect to let the shortcode display less details on sidebars. I think just the question title and perhaps the stats would do, that is, the views, answers and votes. If only those info are included in the sidebar version of the shortcode function, it will be much appealing aesthetically.

I have attached a screenshot for you to better understand how it looks.
Thanks a lot. You guys rock!.
