Our Responsive WordPress news theme for online news and magazine sites DW Focus has been updated to the latest version 1.0.9 with bug fixes and exciting improvements.
This is a quick update for the theme based on all the feedback and bug reports from our users. Three new improvements lie in the 404 page, DW Latest News widget and the archive pages. Scroll down for more insights.
Upload 404 page logo
You can now personalize the 404 page with your own logo or image. The set up is quite simple. Navigate to Appearance > Customize > Site Title & Tagline then drag and drop your desired image into the 404 logo box. Check out the screenshot below.

Set meta info for DW Latest News widget
Following other widgets as Recent News, Popular News, News Slider, etc, DW Latest News widget has now got setting options for adding meta information into a post and these information includes date, author, category and tag info. Simply go to Appearance > Customize > Widgets: Home Content > DW Focus: Latest news and tick on the meta info that you want to display. See the screenshot below for a better visual guide.

Set default layout for archive pages
Apart from the Category pages, the default Grid or List layout has now been set for other archive pages as well. Check out the following screenshot.
