Hueman theme - setting of "Related posts" feature does not work

Hey all!
I have the following issue: I am using Hueman theme. This theme has a feature/widget called “Related posts” and it can be set at “Content > Single Post Settings” in the pages customizer. Here, there is a setting to set which related posts we want to show in the feature. It has three possibilities:
-Disable
-Related by categories
-Related by tags
What I chooed is the “Related by categories”
The problem is that I still have every posts in the “widget” so it is not filtered by the related categories…if I change the setting to “Related by tags” it remains the same so it did also not solve my problem
I am using the latest version of the Hueman theme (3.2.10)
What is your opinion where my problem lies? Would you be so kind as to help me in this matter?

Hi, so sorry for my late reply to you, at this time i can’t debug why it happen, but the code of that widget might be bug, you can try report this to the hueman theme’s author.
You can also send me your site and an admin account to login via private answer, i can help you check it.
